Readers who want to know who publishes the league and betting pages of leaguebetsnz, and under which rules, will find both here.

Publisher

The publisher’s name, legal form, address and e-mail are available at leaguebetsnz.com, so that the site can be identified and approached with a question or complaint.

Purpose

This is an information site and nothing else. It takes no bets, has no customer accounts, accepts no money and does not mediate between a reader and a bookmaker. It publishes no forecast that guarantees a win.

New Zealand law on betting

Under section 74AAA of the Racing Industry Act 2020, TAB NZ is, since 28 June 2025, the only provider lawfully offering racing and sports betting to people in New Zealand; TAB and Betcha are its two online brands. The Department of Internal Affairs supervises compliance. Because no licence can be applied for, no other bookmaker has a New Zealand licence. The minimum age for betting with TAB NZ is 18.

Content

Articles are prepared with care and reviewed from time to time, but odds, markets and the terms of offers change continually, so the provider’s current terms govern. The site accepts no responsibility for decisions based on its content. The Fair Trading Act 1986 prohibits misleading conduct in trade, and the pages are written within it.

Links to other sites

Outside links were checked at the time they were added. The site cannot control what such pages later hold; their owners are answerable. If a link is reported as leading to unlawful content, it is removed.

Copyright

The Copyright Act 1994 protects the texts, tables and graphics. Use beyond fair dealing requires the editors’ written consent beforehand.

Gambling harm

Betting carries risk. Signs of excessive gambling, in oneself or someone close, can be discussed with the Gambling Helpline or Safer Gambling Aotearoa. TAB NZ also describes deposit limits, bet limits and self-exclusion on its own pages.
