Tennis, golf & more
Outside the NRL season there are still weekends to fill, and individual sports do much of the filling. This section brings those sports together.
Boxing, MMA and the UFC are the nearest in spirit to league, being contact sports, and are followed by tennis and golf. Formula 1, snooker, table tennis and volleyball finish the set. Outright and head-to-head are the usual forms of market.
Esports remains unclear. Neither the extent of TAB NZ’s esports offering nor the status of esports under the Act’s definition of sports betting is established, so nothing definite is said. Every sport named is bet on lawfully with TAB NZ only.
